Step One: Request a new pricing table
To change the prices for a product in the IBU platform you need to prepare a new pricing table. The pricing table is effectively a spreadsheet which price information. IBU will provide you with the pricing table format to use. Contact IBU support to request a pricing table template. Or you can download the current one and edit it. To learn how to download the pricing click here.
Step Two: Prepare a new pricing table
You will need to enter all the new prices into the pricing table provided. Typically this is done by linking existing product spreadsheets (rates tables) you might have to the pricing table template provided. A price needs to be provided for each combination of product (trip length, destination, age bracket, extra).
Step Three: Import the new pricing table into the Pricing Administration System
NOTE: We recommend that you load price changes into Staging first. We recommend that you run a number of tests in staging to confirm that the pricing changes look correct and then they can be loaded into production. Click here to access the staging environment. The staging environment works in the same way as the production environment but the prices will be imported into your staging instance.
