The IBU platform via Pricing Administration allows you to manage promotional codes via creating and editing coupons.
What is a coupon code?
A coupon code is a promotional code that can be shared via marketing materials and promotional activities that entitles the holder to a discount.
The IBU platform allows you to set up promotional code as a percentage discount (%) for either an infinite or fixed period of time.
Step One: Log into Pricing Administration
The first step is to log into Pricing Administration. For find out how to log in - click here.
Step Two: Select the Coupons tab
The coupons tabs is in the top menu - next to Products.
The coupons tab lists all the coupons that have been used for the brands selected.
This page will list in alphabetical order all the coupons - the discount % and effective start and end date.
If there is no effective start and end date - this means that the coupon applies indefinitely.
Code = coupon code - the code given to customers to obtain the promotional discount
Discount = % discount rate applied to the product being purchased.
Effective start date = is the date that the coupon code will be effective from. It starts at 12.00am on the date entered. If BLANK, then it applies for an infinite time period. The effective start date - can not be in the past.
Effective end date = is the date that the coupon code will be effective to. It ends at 11.59pm on the date entered. If BLANK, then it applies for an infinite time period.
